u8-u14 (2017-2011 Boys/Girls) Program
This program will have multiple teams and levels. These team and levels will be Academy and Elite. Academy players will need to commit to USYF Regionals and Nationals if we qualify. Academy and Elite teams will attend 3 events and 2 trainings per week with Emerald City professional staff coaches. Players will sign up individually and will be placed on either an Academy team or an Elite team. This placement will be based on skill and agility similarly to traditional outdoor soccer. Please see below the information for both Academy and Elite teams.
Academy Teams:
The Academy Program is for the advanced players who show a strong technical ability with the ball and desire to play competitive futsal. Academy teams will have high level futsal training as well as compete in Local, Regional and National events. Academy teams will participate in the USYF Regional and National (if qualify). Academy teams will also participate in Friendly games on non-event weekends. Academy Teams will attend 3 events between November and February. Players must attend an Emerald City Futsal Assessments or contact the Director of Coaching for placement. Most age groups will only have one Academy team but there could be multiple academy teams depending on the age group and level.
Academy Teams: Cost: $1195.00
Ages: 2015-2010 (2016 will be considered for 2015 Teams)
Training Location: Karrer Middle School and FieldHouse @ Polaris
Training Days: Tuesday/Thursday 6:00-9:00pm (Start Date 11/6 @ Fieldhouse)

Elite Teams:
Players that do not make an Academy team will be placed in the Elite Program. The Elite Program will be for players that are not quit ready for the Academy program but will still be able to play futsal at the appropriate competitive level. These players will have one team training and one skills training per week. The Elite Program teams will primarily compete in tournaments around Ohio. The Elite teams will also compete in Friendly Game weekends along with the Academy Teams.
